The Sneaky Chef will have your kids eating Veggies! July 29, 2007

sneakychef.jpgThe New York Times says, “The Sneaky Chef is a brilliant and timely concept.” This is one of the best selling books on their list and I can see why. If you have the same trouble that I used to face each and every night that involves getting your child or children to eat the food on their plate including their veggies, this may be for you! The Sneaky Chef is just that, incorporating recipes with the foods that your child should eat in the foods that they already eat like chocolate chip cookies, mac and cheese, spaghetti, and lots of other stuff. The book includes 75 different recipes and was designed to be a self help book for parents that will put an end to dinnertime battles and promote peace at the dinner table. We at Food Hype love this concept and many parents have been raving about this book. You can get it new at Amazon for $10.00 or used for as low as $8.00. Getting your kids too eat what you want them too eat can be a handful. I recommend reintroducing the foods they don’t like several times it may take a while for them to adjust to the taste and when trying to get them to try something new that you think they wont like just ask them to take one bite to see. That’s the unique thing about this book you can add veggies to the food they already eat.

Three cookbooks you must own and why….. July 28, 2007

We at Food Hype haven’t discussed much of our great collection of cookbooks so right now were going to put the spotlight on three must haves.

cover.jpg The first one which is very popular, you may have heard of it or already own it, is The Copy Cat Cook Book which features 332 secret recipes from your favorite restaurants like Applebee’s, Red Lobster, Star Buck’s, and TGI Fridays. I love this cook book and there are ton’s of recipes in it from all the food giants that are very accurate. These cookbooks have been around for a while, I found some old ones my mother had collected while cleaning her house one day. When purchasing the cookbook they give you many free bonuses like the Holiday, Cookie, and Crock Pot Cookbooks. The book is currently on sale for 19.99 while usually selling for 29.95 and they also include Copy Cat Cook Book #2 absolutely free which includes an additional 424 of your favorite restaurant recipes.bak_kut_teh.jpg

Second on our list would be the famous Singapore Recipes Cook Book. Singapore’s food is delicious! Eating is a national past time there and with all the variety of food and places to dine it’s no wonder they have a month long food festival every year in July. With this cook book you get 50 original authentic recipes with full color and preparation instructions. This is a nice book that will bring some new flavor to your kitchen table and sure to keep any man hanging around… I know I can’t get rid of mine… lol! I often get requests to make certain dishes like the Steamed Shrimp Dumplings or Crispy fried Chicken. So this one is a definite steal considering it only costs $12.90 for a limited time and it features healthy meals.

chicken_tikka.jpgOK last but definitely not least is the Five Star Indian Recipes Cook Book! Haven’t tried Indian food yet? What are you waiting for. This is a great cuisine with over 1000 recipes. The easy step by step instructions in this ebook will help you make the traditional hot and spicy Indian Curry that many restaurants serve as well as other soups, spices, salads, snacks, and main entrees. This book comes with many free bonuses, 7 to be exact that you can view by visiting their site FiveStarIndianRecipes.com and this fantastic cooking guide will cost you only $6.95.

These books are among the hottest selling books online. There are plenty more where that came from and we’ll began to focus on three new titles each week. I have a cooking and eating passion and we at Food hype can’t wait to share the wealth of information with our readers.
